Supporting Staff Well-Being

Working in human services can be deeply rewarding but also challenging. Without intentional focus on self-care and well-being, staff may face compassion fatigue, burnout, and heightened stress.

Over time, it’s easy to fall into routines that once helped us cope but no longer serve us. We may prioritize others’ needs at the expense of our own, let our inner critic dominate, or take on a sense of responsibility for the outcomes of those we support.

This workshop empowers participants to cultivate well-being by aligning with their core values, recognizing personal strengths, and identifying what truly nourishes them. We’ll explore ways to manage stress and prevent burnout, especially in the face of life’s tougher moments. Through practical strategies and reflective exercises, participants will learn how to stay grounded, handle challenges, and foster a workplace culture that supports health and mutual respect.

At Luminate, we embrace a strengths-based approach to well-being in the workplace, equipping staff to prioritize their own well-being so they can continue to offer their best to those they serve.
